Nicola Badger Artist

I create multi-layered, tactile artwork inspired by the connections between nature, myth, and memory. My work is an experimental fusion of diverse processes—combining drawing, stitching, textured encaustic wax, and delicate gold leaf with text and digital elements to create pieces that invite close observation. 

Currently focusing on paper-based creations, I also work with cyanotype photography and bookbinding to create limited-edition artist books, and  prints. With my background as a Fine Art lecturer, I build rich, complex surfaces designed to reveal hidden details and quiet stories.
